Premiere Communications & Consulting proudly sponsored the Camp Royall Classic Golf Tournament on Monday, May 6th. This event is something our company looks forward to year after year to support the Autism Society of North Carolina. The funds raised at this event give individuals an opportunity to attend Camp Royall, a summer camp for adults and children with autism. This year’s tournament took place at the Governor’s Club in Chapel Hill, NC on a warm and sunny day – perfect for a round of golf.
ASNC enhances the lives of individuals with autism, support the families, and educate communities. Camp Royall is the largest and oldest autism camp, serving thousands of people each year. Each year ASNC must raise $300,000 in scholarships to send campers to Camp Royall where individuals can have fun learning new skills and making new friends.
The cadre of four teams enjoyed the day on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and ended with a barbeque feast. Matt Knowles, Premiere’s Director of Business Development, and his golf team: Ralph Nee, Mark Skiff, and Doug Terry, Premiere’s VP of Engineering, won first place in the third flight of golfers!
The highlight of the event was seeing everyone raise money for Camp Royall scholarships. Raffle tickets were sold for the 1967 Chevy Camaro that Premiere restored and donated to the Autism Society of North Carolina. If you’d like to purchase a chance to win this sweet ride, there’s still time! Each ticket is $100, and all proceeds will provide services for individuals with autism and their families. Purchase your chance to win here – only 1,100 tickets will be sold!
Just recently, Premiere Communications & Consulting sponsored the triangle Catwalk to Camp event at the Angus Barn Pavilions. The Autism Society of North Carolina has been an important part to the Premiere family year after year. Premiere’s leaders go beyond supporting ASNC financially and with their time – they help connect others with ASNC and even offer employment opportunities for adults on the spectrum. Premiere employees volunteer their time and energy throughout the year through annual work days to make this a year-round commitment.
